Free and Online Classes
There are no fees or charges associated with joining our classes. Our online classes on Skype have been designed to provide a flexible and convenient learning experience for participants.
Experienced Volunteers
Volunteer to help with social media and designing or with teaching either Java or Python. Hours will be signed off.

Our Program
Python Summer Program: This course will teach children ages 8-14 the basics of programming in Python. The course will be 2 hours each day from Monday to Friday for 1 week. Session dates will be June 26-30.
Java Summer Program: This course will teach children ages 9-15 the basics of programming in Java. This course will be 2 hours each day from Monday to Friday for 1 week. Session dates will be June 19-23.
The courses will be taught using Skype. Session links will be sent once the sign up is closed so make sure to sign-up quickly because there are limited spots available!

Python Syllabus
We will cover how Python is used in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for every topic.
Day 1: Introduction, basics, print statements and comments, data types, math operators.
Activity: Madlibs
Day 2: User input, Casting, Conditionals, If-Else Statements, Elif Statements.
Activity: Roller coaster price chooser
Day 3: Print formatting, print functions, for loops, and while loops.
Activity: ASCII Art and City Guesser
Day 4: Useful Python functions, Index slicing, Lists, AND logical operators.
Activity: Rock, Paper, Scissors!
Day 5: Traversing strings and lists, creating functions.
Activity: Make a calculator
